Welcome to Peer Patient
Welcome to the Peer Patient, an online learning space for development of skills in simulated patient portrayal.
Peer Patient is designed for undergraduate healthcare students to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes related to being able to portray a patient in simulation based learning activities. The resource is open to individuals from all health professional disciplines and is designed specifically for undergraduate learners. The resource consists of online learning modules pertaining to skills in acting, observing movement, observing body language and learning through simulation activities utilising web-based learning activities, to enable translation of patient portrayal skills to the simulation based classroom.
This project was possible due to funding made available by Western Sydney University, School of Science and Health, and Monash University, Department of Physiotherapy.
